ABOUT ONCOLOGY TRAINING
Advancing integrative care, one practitioner at a time.
Oncology Training is the founding education provider for Greet The Day — the nonprofit that pioneered integrative oncology care in the United States.
When you train with us, you join a movement that has been transforming the cancer care experience since 2003.
OUR ROOTS
Greet The Day established the first oncology spa program in the country in 2003, setting practice standards that made spa services safe and accessible for people living with cancer. Since then, the organization has served thousands of patients across Southern California, building referral relationships between cancer centers, oncologists, and day spas that simply didn’t exist before.
In 2006, Greet The Day launched California’s first infusion center massage program — one of the few structured massage therapy programs integrated into cancer care at a major U.S. medical center at the time. What began as a volunteer-run anomaly became a national model, paving the way for funded therapist positions in integrative care across the country.

WHY IT MATTERS
Greet The Day’s work didn’t follow trends — it set them. A significant portion of its groundbreaking programs were developed before widespread internet use, driven purely by the vision of its leadership and the dedication of its volunteers. Their efforts have raised the standard of care for people with cancer and opened doors for massage therapists and estheticians to practice meaningfully in clinical center, private practice and spa settings.
The education programs you participate in with Oncology Training are part of that legacy. By training here, you’re not just earning a credential — you’re contributing to a mission that continues to redefine what compassionate, whole-person cancer care looks like.
10% of your Foundation program course fee goes directly to Greet The Day, supporting ongoing patient program delivery and development, and the continued development of integrative oncology care.
